NYE Essentials for a Good New Year
New Year’s Eve is the chance to reset the clock, celebrate the end of a great year or give it a solid middle finger. Love it or hate it, 2017 has been an exceptional, surreal, one-of-a-kind year, with daily news that would almost comical if it weren’t so tragic. Pick any day out of this 365 deck of cards and you’ll find a reason to pull your hair out, donate to a good cause or move to the mountains. But we charge on, promise to try a little harder, try to be a new and improved version of ourselves. We at the Goodship believe in parties. We believe in dressing up, of taking a break from the news, from work, from reality itself and remembering life is grand if you can cut through the noise of politics, disappointment and the stress of daily life. Even in a deck of 365 days there are a handful of aces and New Years Eve and Day are two reliable ones. Organize the people you love. Dress up. Make dinner or go to a party or drive up into those mountains. Take the time off. You deserve it. We know you do. The new year will bring new challenges and opportunities, new treasures and new tragedies. But take care of yourself and find those aces – hand draw them on the back of business cards. Make free time. We need you at your best and that requires recreation. Play. Pretend. Exhale. Dance. Indulge. And make sure you have plenty of Goodship treats. Don't forget your NYE essentials, including a velvet bowtie, palo santo, champagne and of course, Goodship chocolate. Not shown: A piñata filled with Goodship cookies, jellies, and peppermint patties.
