Goodship produced it’s first video with the incredible director, Austin Wilson, featuring innovative Seattle artists, Shabazz Palaces and Tacocat. We’re so thrilled to have our video selected as a Vimeo staff pick, a testament to the beautiful work that Austin and team created. Check out our weekend spent at the oldest hotel in the state in the small fishing village called Tokeland (yep, you heard that right): Watch Goodship Sessions Vol. 1.

“Is Seattle’s Goodship Higher Education Series about bringing together cannabis users? Or is it about deep subjects like the search for extraterrestrial intelligence? And is it OK to ask fellow attendees if they’re toasted? The answer, apparently, is yes, yes and yes.

As SETI astronomer Seth Shostak and I were chatting before Thursday night’s talk at Melrose Market Studios in Seattle’s Capitol Hill district, we wondered how many folks in the standing-room-only crowd had arrived ‘pre-boarded.'” Read more here!

“It’s a social experiment within a social experiment within a social experiment. Two dozen of us have traveled to Tokeland, Wash., a no-traffic-light fishing village on Willapa Bay 140 miles southwest of Seattle, to spend Halloween weekend at the oldest hotel in the state. We’ve been convened by a marijuana edibles company called the Goodship, which asks only that we give ourselves 100 percent to this untested psychedelic adventure.” Read more here!

VICE’s cannabis cooking show, Bong Appetit, made their first venture to Seattle, and joined the Goodship on a journey to make cannabis-infused cupcakes with our founder, Jody Hall. We took Abdullah and team to Vashon Island to visit our friends at Vashon Velvet and Cornerstone Farm and Dairy for the fresh supplies of flower, milk, and eggs. Check out our adventure to Vashon!
